Welcome everyone to the Gulf South Council website. We are a council that is proud of our heritage and history of being a grand supporter of the IMA’s agenda here in the southeast. As a 25 year veteran of the IMA, I encourage all members to get involved in the their local chapters; as well as their corresponding council as it provides an even varied exposure to education and knowledge of its members.
I’m excited that in the last few years we have added Memphis, TN and Chattanooga, TN to our roster of member chapters. In September we held a two day learning event in Memphis where much was learned with a wide variety of topics and speakers which included Ernst & Young, Robert Half, Phelps Jenkins Gibson Fowler Law Firm, and former chaplain & player from the Green Bay Packers.
